2011 was a great year for TV, wasn’t it? In fact, just as good, were the adverts which were embedded between them. 2011 saw a flurry of well-thought-out and quirky ads, to take advantage of the spurt of viral advertising found online. Since they’ve had such large impressions on the internet, it was only right that this trend spilled over to the masses via their TVs too. So here are the Top 10 TV adverts of 2011.

10. Twining Tea: Gets You Back to Life. Guess who excelled themselves on the advertising front this year. (Watch)

9. Warburtons: Celebration. The 1,000,000th loaf of bread is made at the Warburtons factory. Imagine the excitement that day. Well you no longer have to with this advert. (Watch)

8. BBC Radio 4: History of the Bull. A man dives over a bull. Need we say any more? (Watch)

7. East Coast Trains: Museum. A criticism of many ads is that they’re just too complicated. East Coast Trains recognised it and took all the complexities out. (Watch)
